“Dark Wave,” hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs’ Matt Sebastian, explores the darker side of classic ’80s alternative, including vintage goth, post-punk and industrial. The show airs at 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern every Sunday on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave (Channel 33).
The most recent two episodes are available to subscribers to stream via the Sirius XM app.
Got a request? Requests will be considered for future episodes, but there’s no guarantee they’ll be played. They must fit the show’s format and fall generally within the 1st Wave era. Really great show last night!
Another favorite show. The opening block was amazing, and I’m including the bad poetry. “Fly on the Windscreen” extended was so good and I gotta explore more Ghost Dance,. The “Lonely Planet” (I might agree with you on Dusk?) into the industrial block was absolutely delightful.
And thank you on behalf of me and xTin for “Rules & Regulations!” I hadn’t heard it in a while, and it sounded better than ever.
Also I loved the “Blood Bitch” episode so much I listened to it three times. I was thinking I might have to recreate it with a playlist. I might do the same for this one!
