With the their comeback extending into a second summer of touring, the revived Duran Duran has announced plans to release a new live DVD and CD called ‘A Diamond in the Mind,’ recorded last December at a tour stop in Manchester, England. No other details of the project, but you can check out the trailer here.

Peter Gabriel this month will release a 2CD concert album called ‘Live Blood’ recorded March 23, 2011, at London’s Hammersmith Apollo — the same performance that yielded last year’s ‘New Blood: Live in London’ DVD — and today he’s teasing the release by streaming this live, orchestral version of ‘Solsbury Hill.’

X co-founders John Doe and Exene Cervenka next week will officially release a formerly tour-only CD called ‘Singing and Playing’ that features seven acoustic tracks recorded in 2010 plus a live version of the band’s classic “See How We Are” the duo recorded last year (that track also appears as one of the new studio cuts).
