The Sugarcubes
“Dark Wave,” hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs’ Matt Sebastian, explores the darker side of classic ’80s alternative, including vintage goth, post-punk and industrial. The show airs at 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern every Sunday on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave (Channel 33).
The most recent two episodes are available to subscribers to stream via the Sirius XM app.
Got a request? Requests will be considered for future episodes, but there’s no guarantee they’ll be played. They must fit the show’s format and fall generally within the 1st Wave era. And not be something the host really dislikes. If there’s something you’d like to hear, drop it in the comments below.

Great show again, and a rare one where I actually knew all the artists played (although The Lucy Show only barely). And thanks for playing my 23 Skidoo request from a while back!
Here’s a new batch of requests for future shows:
Ford Proco – Garage MP
Crash Course in Science – No More Hollow Doors
Paul Roland – Dark Carnival
Renegade Soundwave – Probably a Robbery
Pop Will Eat Itself (feat. Stephen Mallinder) – 1000 X No (PWEI 40 rework)
Like Mikko, I think I knew almost everything – except that very odd Depeche Mode mix which I really did like! Here’s a few requests for the future, looks like some bands haven’t been played for 8-9 years on the show!
1. Legendary Pink Dots – Remember Me This Way
2. Love Is Colder Than Death – Oxeia
3. Wolfsheim – Kein Zurück
4. Yeht Mae – Take Him Out Back
5. Robotiko Rejekto – Robotiko Rejekto
For future shows:
1. A Matter of Time – Berlin
2. The Ordinary Boys – Morrissey
3. Growing In Green – March Violets
4. Tora! Tora! Tora! – Depeche Mode
Great show as always Matt!
Goodnight!
