The Sound
“Dark Wave,” hosted by Slicing Up Eyeballs’ Matt Sebastian, explores the darker side of classic ’80s alternative, including vintage goth, post-punk and industrial. The show airs at 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern every Sunday on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave (Channel 33).
The most recent two episodes are available to subscribers to stream via the Sirius XM app.
Got a request? Requests will be considered for future episodes, but there’s no guarantee they’ll be played. They must fit the show’s format and fall generally within the 1st Wave era. And not be something the host really dislikes. If there’s something you’d like to hear, drop it in the comments below.

Hey Matt! Really great show tonight. I loved zap city by The Cult.
Great show again, Dark Day and The Klinik were probably the biggest highlights for me this week.
Some new requests for the future:
Cleaners from Venus – Follow the Plough
Oppenheimer Analysis – Cold War
Polyrock – Romantic Me
They really need three 3 hour shows , one of Goth / Death Rock, and Electronic Industrial noise , and a shoegaze dream pop . I mean before your show tonight Richard Blade was all I’ve never played Carolyn’s fingers by Cocteau Twins before. I’m like even MTV played it back when it was new on 120 and good college radio played it back then . I’m saying your show is the best the need to give you more time , like you should get a longer set me Blade should take sunday’s off .
