The Jesus and Mary Chain’s fall U.S. tour just got a bit longer, as the band has been announced as the headliner — along with Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum — of the Boomslang festival in Lexington, Ky., this September. The brothers Reid play a short run of dates later this week before embarking on the full tour in September.

Dates continue to slip out for The Jesus and Mary Chain’s late-summer return to North America, with concerts in Philadelphia and Madison, Wisc., joining the expanding roster. According to WXPN, JAMC will play Philly’s Union Transfer on Sept. 8, while a Sept. 19 date at Madison’s Majestic Theatre is appearing on multiple websites.
