Midnight Oil today announced nine North American concerts and four shows in Europe as part of what’s being billed as the Australian rock legends’ final tour.

Midnight Oil released its 13th studio album Resist yesterday, and teased fans with news they’ll announce summer tour dates in North America and Europe next week.

Midnight Oil this week debuted the third track off of its forthcoming album Resist, a song called “At the Time of Writing” that is more rocking than its two predecessors.

Midnight Oil today announced plans to release its new studio album — a 12-song collection titled Resist — next year and mount what it’s calling the band’s final tour.
