Paul Weller this morning announced he’ll release his 11th solo album — the 14-track ‘Sonik Kicks,’ featuring appearances by Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon — in March, and will preview the new collection with two pre-release London concerts at which he’ll perform the new album in its entirety.

This week’s new releases include new solo albums from The Replacements’ Tommy Stinson (‘One Man Mutiny’) and X’s John Doe (‘Keeper’), plus a new single from Big Country with The Alarm’s Mike Peters on vocals (‘Another Country’) and the vinyl release of Paul Weller’s ‘Starlite’ single.

This month’s tape features recent tracks from Paul Weller and Gang of Four, and classic cuts from The Clash, Camouflage and Simple Minds, plus British Sea Power covering The Cure, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs remaking Sonic Youth and The Shop Assistants doing The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Modfather Paul Weller unexpectedly announced a new non-album single on Monday, a dancey tune called ‘Starlite’ that can be streamed here and will be available next month as both an iTunes download bundle and a 12-inch single.
