Talking Heads spinoff Tom Tom Club — husband-and-wife rhythm section Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz — today premiered the music video for “Downtown Rockers,” the title track of their just-released new EP, the duo’s first new release in a dozen years. The video features cameos from Debbie Harry and Richard Hell.

On the even of the release of their new album together, David Byrne and St. Vincent stopped by “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night, where they performed the record’s brassy opening track/lead single “Who” on air, then stuck around to play “The Forest Awakes” as a web-only exclusive.

This week’s new releases include brand-new albums from Pet Shop Boys, David Byrne and St. Vincent and Tom Tom Club, plus reissues from The Stone Roses and Aztec Camera, a live CD/DVD of The English Beat’s US Festival performances, and best-ofs from Duran Duran and Propaganda.

‘Love This Giant’ — the 2-years-in-the-making album by former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne and singer-songwriter/guitar ace Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent — arrives in stores one week from today, but you can get an early listen to the full record courtesy of NPR.
