To coincide with their first headlining tour in 24 years, The Replacements next month will release an 8-disc box set that collects the band’s seven studio albums and one EP released between 1981 and 1990, an announcement made today via a Rhino Records press release that had been copy edited by the band itself.

It’s no doubt one of the more standout one-offs of modern rock: The Glove’s Blue Sunshine, the 1983 album by The Cure’s Robert Smith and Seven Severin of Siouxsie and the Banshees. To celebrate that LP, we’ve got a pair of T-shirts to give away to four lucky Slicing Up Eyeballs readers.

Exploring the legacy of ’80s college rock, the Slicing Up Eyeballs Music Hour airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Pacific on Strangeways Radio. If you caught this week’s episode, pop over to the Strangeways message board to leave requests for future shows.
