The Church, at work on a follow-up to 2014’s Further/Deeper, have released a new song called “Another Century” ahead of the band’s return to the U.S. later this month for a short run of concerts in the eastern half of the country, including a slot at Milwaukee’s Summerfest. Now we know what that entails.

Fans who saw tonight’s Stone Roses gig in Glasgow are reporting that frontman Ian Brown seemingly announced the end of the band, telling the crowd, “Don’t be sad it’s over. Be happy that it happened” — suggesting the Manchester legends’ reunion has run its course after five years.
This Sunday’s episode of “Dark Wave” on Sirius XM satellite radio’s 1stWave channel will spotlight Cherry Red Records’ forthcoming Silhouettes & Statues: A Gothic Revolution 1978-1986, featuring selections from the 5-disc box set throughout the three-hour program.
