A day after Depeche Mode’s new single “Heaven” leaked all over the web, the band has now premiered the music video for the lead-off track from the upcoming ‘Delta Machine.’ The single, B-side “All That’s Mine” and a number of remixes go on sale digitally via retailers on Friday, with CD singles out Tuesday.

Bob Mould this week debuted a new music video via “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” for “Star Machine,” off last year’s ‘Silver Age’ album. The clip, which you can see above, is a spoof on take-your-kid-to-work events, with things going decidedly wrong with drummer Jon Wurster shows up.

After announcing just before Christmas that their new album had just been mastered, My Bloody Valentine took the stage tonight in London for the first live date of the year, with Kevin Shields surprising fans by answering a heckler with news news that it could be released in “maybe two or three days.”

Paisley Underground mainstays Rain Parade have reunited after 25 years, performing Saturday night at The Earl in Atlanta during a benefit concert to raise money to help Bobby Sutliff, singer/guitarist/songwriter for ’80s contemporaries The Windbreakers, who was seriously injured in a car accident last summer.

Echo & The Bunnymen spinoff Poltergeist — an instrumental trio that reunites guitarist Will Sergeant with former bassist and founding member Les Pattinson — today announced it will release a debut album titled ‘Your Mind Is A Box (Let Us Fill It With Wonder)’ in March then perform a series of U.K. dates later that month.

With his rescheduled two-month U.S. tour set to kick off Wednesday night in Long Island, N.Y., Morrissey dropped by “The Late Show with David Letterman” tonight to perform “Action Is My Middle Name,” one of a handful of new and as-yet-unreleased songs the singer debuted last year and continues to perform on tour.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds late last week premiered the official video for “We No Who U R,” the first single off the band’s upcoming 15th studio album. As you can see from the clip posted above, the Gaspar Noé-directed video is fairly minimalist, tracking a shadow through a forest. ‘Push the Sky Away’ arrives Feb. 18.

For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we flash back to 1992 for a walk through Tijuana, Mexico, with John Lydon and host Dave Kendall. This appears to actually be an MTV news piece, likely repackaged from segments produced for a July 1992 episode of “120 Minutes” that featured the Public Image Ltd. frontman as co-host.

The makers of the upcoming documentary “Eternity Road: The Story of Lowlife” — chronicling the cult Scottish band that formed in 1984 and released its final album a decade later — promise to expose “the greatest post-punk band you never heard” through rare footage and interviews with band members.
