For this week’s installment of “120 Minutes” Rewind, we present 20 minutes of footage from the May 3, 1992, episode that was co-hosted by Peter Murphy to mark the release of his then-new solo album Holy Smoke. Murphy chats with Dave Kendall about the recording of the album.

For this week’s installment of Vintage Video, we again turn to the era-defining West German TV show “Rockpalast” and this 1984 performance by INXS, who, in the course of 90 minutes, run through 20 songs from the band’s early catalog — including future classics “Don’t Change,” “Black and White” and “The Original Sin.”

The Church, which recently began working on a follow-up to 2014’s Further/Deeper, will return to the U.S. for what’s being billed as a “limited run” of concerts — a nine-date tour that has the band playing shows in the eastern half of the country, including a slot at Milwaukee’s Summerfest.

Former Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy today announced he’s being forced to postpone his 15-night residency at The Chapel in San Francisco until 2018 after nodules were discovered on his vocal cords that will necessitate treatment and an extended period of recovery.

German industrialists KMFDM and Skinny Puppy offshoot ohGr will follow up their appearance at the Cold Waves festival in Chicago with a U.S. tour that’ll keep them on the road through October playing two dozen shows from coast to coast.

The Psychedelic Furs will return to the U.K. to play shows in their native country for the first time in five years this September, as the band follows its U.S. dates with Robyn Hitchcock with a tour aimed at “celebrating the many singles they’ve released throughout their career.” See full dates here.
