Former Joy Division bassist Peter Hook brought the U.S. leg of his somewhat controversial Unknown Pleasures tour to a close Saturday night in Los Angeles, where he was joined onstage by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell to perform “Transmission” (“I existed on that record forever,” Farrell tweeted earlier in the evening). Fitting that two of the greatest bands over the last 30 year would have their most cantankerous personalities “team” up. Only thing that would’ve made it even more fitting if Moz stepped on stage too.
