Wire announces self-titled 13th album, plus U.S. and U.K. tours — stream new track now

Just a year after the release of the old-songs-resurrected set Change Becomes Us, U.K. post-punk legends Wire return with another brand-new album, their 13th overall, which they’re simply calling Wire. The band has announced U.K. and U.S. tours to support the record, and have offered up the first taste of the LP.

This week’s new releases include new studio albums from Robyn Hitchcock (“The Man Upstairs”) and Dinosaur Jr’s J Mascis (“Tied to a Star”), plus the U.S. release of Wire’s “Document and Eyewitness” reissue, a 4CD Eyeless in Gaza box set and a vinyl reissue from Lydia Lunch and Rowland S. Howard.

Wire announces November dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco: ‘More to follow’

Wire this summer ventured to the U.S. for a brief tour in support of the band’s 13th studio album Change Becomes Us, sticking to the eastern portion of the country.
