On Saturday, Public Image Ltd. will release its first new music in 20 years in the form of the ‘One Drop’ EP, a Record Store Day release featuring four tracks off the band’s upcoming full-length album ‘This Is PiL.’ We’ve already heard lead single “One Drop,” but now comes a second new PiL track: “Lollipop Opera.”

John Lydon this week unveiled the tracklist for the first new Public Image Ltd. album in 20 years, a 12-track, self-financed record called ‘This Is PiL’ that will be preceded by the previously announced Record Store Day vinyl EP that will include four of the tracks earmarked for the new full-length collection.

On Friday night, John Lydon’s reconstituted Public Image Ltd. performed at the 10th anniversary concert in London for BBC’s 6 Music, and, in the process, debuted two tracks — “Deeper Water” and the single “One Drop,” which has been aired on U.K. radio — off the group’s forthcoming album ‘This Is PiL.’

John Lydon’s resurrected Public Image Ltd. today announced a May 28 release date for ‘This is PiL,’ the post-punk act’s first new album in 20 years, and also unveiled the tracklist for the four-song Record Store Day EP that’s culled from the new record and which will hit shops a full month earlier.
