Prior to his still-to-be-announced tour of Japan, Morrissey will head to South America for in late February for concerts in Chile, Peru, Argentina and Colombia. So far, the singer has announced two performances in Chile and his first-ever concert in Peru; shows in Colombia and Argentina will be announced next week.

Morrissey is expected to announce a 10-date April tour of Japan later this week, followed by concerts in Thailand, the Philippines and New Zealand — and he may be planning some performances in South America in February, too.

Morrissey has followed up his Top 10 albums list by ranking his singles, again favoring recent output (‘First of the Gang to Die’ and ‘Irish Blood, English Heart’ top the list), while minimizing his Smiths contributions to just two entries (‘Panic’ at No. 5 and and “Girlfriend in a Coma” at No. 6).

Morrissey this week ranked his back catalog in a list that’s topped by his last three solo records — ‘Years of Refusal,’ ‘Ringleader of the Tormentors’ and ‘You Are the Quarry’ — and that relegates three latter-day works by The Smiths to Nos. 5 through 7.
