Mark Burgess will perform The Chameleons’ 1983 debut album ‘Script of the Bridge’ in its entirety at a pair of special concerts in Oakland, Calif., and New York City during a November tour of the U.S. under the ChameleonsVox banner.

If you missed the announcement a couple weeks back, heads-up: The legendary Mark Burgess of The Chameleons will be the host of the new “Guest List” show on Strangeways Radio from 9 to 11 EST tonight.

Our friends over at Strangeways Radio today debut “Guest List,” which brings in musicians from across the alternative spectrum to spin some of their favorite tunes.

This week’s new releases include Bad Religion’s ’30th Anniversary Box Set,’ featuring 15 LPs on red vinyl; an audiophile vinyl reissue of Sonic Youth’s ‘Sister’; and a 2CD/1DVD reissue of Frankie Goes to Hollywood frontman Holly Johnson’s solo debut ‘Blast.’

While this week’s installment of ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM featured a host of all-too-usual suspects (The Cure’s ‘Other Voices,’ Public Image Ltd.’s ‘Rise,’ The Sisters of Mercy’s ‘Lucretia, My Reflection’), there were, as always, some pleasant surprises, including ‘Bird Mad Girl’ from the aforementioned Cure, a dash of the always-welcome Chameleons and even a Chris Connelly track.
