Soundgarden will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its blockbuster album Superunknown this year with an ambitious reissue project that begins on Record Store Day with a collection of five limited-edition 10-inch singles, this is followed in June by 2CD and 2LP reissues, plus a monster 5CD “super deluxe edition.”

Morrissey today announced that his doctors have ordered additional rest, forcing the postponement of three more concerts late next week as he continues to undergo treatment for a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus. He apologized for the cancellations, and promised to resume touring in San Diego.

Soundgarden tonight revealed the cover art and an 85-second teaser video for its forthcoming record ‘King Animal,’ the reunited group’s first new studio album in 16 years. The album arrives Nov. 13, and will be Soundgarden’s first since ‘Down on the Upside’ in 1996.
