Ride frontman Mark Gardener has announced dates along the West Coast of the U.S. and in Australia that will find him playing material spanning his entire career — from Ride classics to solo material — while backed by Los Angeles’ Sky Parade, a series of dates meant to commemorate the 20th anniversary of ‘Going Blank Again.’

Seminal British shoegazers Ride — signed to Creation Records in the late ’80s — next month will release a 20th anniversary reissue of their sophomore album ‘Going Blank Again’ that will packaged with the DVD debut of the 1992 VHS release ‘Going Blank Again: Live at Brixton Academy’ featuring newly mixed audio.

This week’s new releases include an expanded reissue of Ride’s debut ‘Nowhere’; a new Bob Geldof album called ‘How to Compose Popular Songs That Will Sell’; a new best-of from Propaganda’s Claudia Brücken (‘Combined’); a reissue of Howard Jones’ ‘The 12″ Album’; vinyl reissues of Bauhaus and Dead Can Dance; and a collection of ZTT 12-inch mixes.

Christmas week is a light one for new releases, with only two notable titles: the digital edition of Duran Duran’s long-awaited ‘All You Need Is Now,’ and a 180-gram vinyl reissue of Ride’s shoegaze classic ‘Nowhere.’
