Public Image Ltd.’s first North American tour in two years grew by two dates this week as John Lydon and Co. announced new late-October shows in San Diego and Tempe, Ariz., now bringing the fall trek to an even 20 dates. The tour opens Oct. 3 in Orlando, Fla., wraps up in Texas at the FunFunFun Fest in Austin, Texas, on Nov. 3.

Public Image Ltd. frontman John Lydon appeared on a panel with several members of the British Parliament last night on the BBC’s ‘Question Time’ program, where a good portion of the discussion focused on the so-called war on drugs (‘Let us as human beings determine our own journey through life,’ Lydon implored).
Back in 2008, the BBC first aired an hour-long radio documentary on the life and work of post-punk guitar legend John McGeoch, who played with Siouxsie and the Banshees, Public Image Ltd. and Magazine, among others.
