Public Image Ltd. will release a 14-track live album that was recorded in 1986 — and previously only available on CD as part of the super deluxe reissue of Album — as a double-LP vinyl edition with a bonus “Concert” poster next month for Record Store Day. Full details and tracklist here.

John Lydon’s reactivated Public Image Ltd. will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year with tours of the U.K., Europe and Japan, along with the release of a new documentary and a career-spanning box that are both titled “The Public Image Is Rotten,” the band announced today. Ministry has released a new live album on Bandcamp — with a vinyl edition following in September — that, while not advertised as such, is taken from the same 1990 concert that spawned the six-song In Case You Didn’t Feel Like Showing Up live album and companion home video release.

Shriekback — self-described “weirdshit danceband, now very old indeed” — is planning to play live for the first time in nearly 25 years, and is soliciting fans to help fund a U.K. and European tour with the promise that, if successful, a North American outing could follow by summer 2018.
