Rhino Records this fall will release a 6-disc expanded reissue of Lou Reed’s 1989 solo triumph New York, a collection that will include previously unreleased studio material, a full live reproduction of the record, a DVD and a double-vinyl pressing of the album. Today would have been the late Lou Reed’s 77th birthday, and, to mark the occasion, his representatives shared a “previously unheard” demo of the song “Endless Cycle,” which appeared on the 1989 album New York — which was released 30 years ago this past January. Hear it here.
