Cocteau Twins’ Robin Guthrie and Ride’s Mark Gardener to release album in September

Cocteau Twins guitarist Robin Guthrie and Ride frontman Mark Gardener have completed their long-in-the-works album together — a collaboration they debuted with their 2012 single “The Places We Go” — and will release the record worldwide this September, Gardener announced this week.

Former Ride frontman Mark Gardener has teamed up with Cocteau Twins co-founder Robin Guthrie to record a new single called ‘The Places We Go’ that will be released digitally next week by Guthrie’s label Soleil Après Minuit ‘via all good download services.’ The track goes on sale July 9.
