It’s good news/bad news for My Bloody Valentine fans: The endlessly delayed reissue of 1988’s ‘Isn’t Anything’ and 1991’s ‘Loveless’ — the latter featuring an unreleased alternate mix by Kevin Shields — no longer have release dates, but Sony Music is planning to release an MBV disc entitled ‘EPs 1988-1991’ this spring.

A fall 2011 release for My Bloody Valentine’s reissue of ‘Loveless’ certainly seemed to make sense, given the 20th anniversary of its original release looms on Nov. 4. Yet it’s not to be: the reissues of ‘Loveless’ and its precursor ‘Isn’t Anything’ have been pushed into 2012.

In our last installment of MBV Watch, we reported a new May release date for the long-rumored, near-mythical reissues of My Bloody Valentine’s two albums: 1988’s ‘Isn’t Anything’ and 1991’s ‘Loveless.’ Now they’ve been bumped to September.

Like clockwork, our MBV Watch feature notches another entry as a sharp-eyed reader points out that HMV is now listing the long-rumored, barely-believed reissues of My Bloody Valentine’s two albums — 1988’s ‘Isn’t Anything’ and 1991’s ‘Loveless’ — as coming out March 14.
