This time, instead of landing a daytime slot under the hot sun, NIN headlined the festival’s first night.
While New Order’s set at Lollapalooza in Chicago was not part of the festival’s webcast last night, those watching the livestream did catch a glimpse of Bernard Sumner when he joined The Killers onstage — as he’s been known to do in the past — to help the band perform its souped-up cover of Joy Division’s “Shadowplay.”
