Can’t make it to Chicago this weekend for Lollapalooza? Don’t worry, you can still see the three-day festival — well part of it, anyway — thanks to weekend-long livestream of the event, which will feature webcasts of performances by The Cure, Nine Inch Nails and more.

The Cure will return to Mexico — site of the band’s epic 4-hour, 50-song performance in an earthquake-rattled stadium on Robert Smith’s birthday this past April — for an arena concert in Monterrey on Oct. 8, the first date to emerge between the band’s headlining slots at the two-weekend Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The Cure next month will warm up for its pair of early August festival dates in North America — the band is playing both Lollapalooza in Chicago and Osheaga Festival Musique et Arts in Montreal the weekend of Aug. 2-4 — with its first-ever Hawaiian concert, a July 30 headlining date in Honolulu.

This year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival won’t officially announce its lineup until May 7, but the event’s organizers are cleverly planting clues around Austin in newspaper ads, plastic cups, T-shirts and even bottle caps. And it’s the latter that, by all appearances, confirms The Cure will play the Texas festival.

Fresh off the first of the band’s two appearances at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this weekend, New Order has begun rolling out U.S. tour dates in late July — including shows in Brooklyn, Philadelphia and Boston — leading up to the band’s appearance at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
