This week’s new releases include Soundgarden’s first new album in 16 years, plus brand-new studio albums from Brian Eno, PiL’s Jah Wobble and Keith Levene and Madness, plus a Sonic Youth live album recorded in 1985 and a live Mudhoney DVD filmed in 1988 in Berlin.
Not only is Public Image Ltd. back in action these days, but two of that band’s key early members — bassist Jah Wobble and guitarist Keith Levene — have reunited to record their first full-length collaboration since PiL’s classic 1979 album ‘Metal Box.’ You can stream and/or download the set’s rather profane opening track here.
