Post-punk legends Gang of Four today debuted the music video for “England’s In My Bones,” one of two songs featuring Alison Mosshart of The Kills and The Dead Weather appearing on the band’s forthcoming album. You can watch the clip right here.

Gang of Four return next month with their eighth album and first without founding vocalist Jon King, an 11-song collection that features new frontman John “Gaoler” Sterry plus guest vocalists Alison Mosshart of The Kills, Gail Ann Dorsey, Robbie Furze of the Big Pink , Japanese guitar hero Hotei and more.

We re-christen the long-dormant Vintage Video series with this fantastic pro-shot footage of Gang of Four performing a taut, 22-minute set at the Music Biennale Zagreb festival in Croatia, on May 15, 1981. The performance comes a couple months after the release of the band’s sophomore album, Solid Gold,

Gang of Four today premiered a brand-new song and a brand-new lineup, with vocalist John “Gaoler” taking the place of founding member Jon King, who had participated in the group’s mid-2000s reunion and 2011 studio album Content. Gang of Four this week dropped the third music video from their new album ‘Content’: a glitchy, revved-up collage of effects and images set to ‘Who Am I,’ the third single off the current record. The new video was filmed in London this summer and directed by bandmember Andy Gill.

Gang of Four wrapped up its recent North American tour — in support of the band’s first all-new studio album in more than 15 years — in Los Angeles this week, and while the, er, gang was in L.A., they recorded a 40-minute live set for KCRW.
