Seattle’s KEXP has just shared video of a blistering, half-hour set by Bob Mould filmed by the radio station during last month’s Bumbershoot festival that finds the rocker tearing through a set comprised of three songs apiece off Sugar’s Copper Blue, his latest solo album Silver Age and Hüsker Dü’s Flip Your Wig.

For this week’s “120 Minutes” Rewind, we take a rare trip into the mid-’90s to present footage from the Sept. 4, 1994, episode, which was guest-hosted by Bob Mould the same week he released Sugar’s second and final album, File Under: Easy Listening. The two perform together for the first time.

]t’s been a busy few days in New York City for Bob Mould: On Wednesday night, he played Bowery Ballroom, inviting “Portlandia” star Fred Armisen on stage to play guitar on three rarely played ‘Flip Your Wig’-era Hüsker Dü songs. And then on Thursday night, he appeared on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.”

Bob Mould this week debuted a new music video via “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” for “Star Machine,” off last year’s ‘Silver Age’ album. The clip, which you can see above, is a spoof on take-your-kid-to-work events, with things going decidedly wrong with drummer Jon Wurster shows up.
