The Church today announced it will bring its ‘Future Past Perfect’ tour to the United States in February and perform not one, but three albums — 1988’s ‘Starfish,’ 1992’s ‘Priest=Aura’ and last year’s ‘Untitled #23’ — in their entirety each night.

As hinted at last summer, classic goth-rock act The Mission will reunite next year for a special 25th anniversary concert in London — although it’s not yet known whether this will lead to the series of U.K. and European concerts originally envisioned by bandleader Wayne Husse

After 30 years, Social Distortion finally made their TV debut last night on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!,’ performing new single ‘Machine Gun Blues’ and the classic ‘Story of My Life.’ Watch ’em here.

Erasure this morning announced both ‘Total Pop!,’ a seven-date greatest-hits tour of U.K. forests next summer to coincide with the release of their next studio album, and a new version of ‘A Little Respect’ recorded to raise awareness about gay bullying and teen suicides.

Anyone who saw the ‘Monster’ tour in 1995 no doubt remembers that ‘Country Feedback,’ off 1991’s not-toured ‘Out of Time,’ was the set’s highlight, capped off each night with a mesmerizing solo from Peter Buck — a guitarist not generally prone to long turns in the spotlight.

This week’s new releases include a box set of Joy Division 7-inch singles; a limited-edition, marble-vinyl 2LP set of The Cure’s expanded ‘Entreat Plus’; Dead Can Dance’s 4LP vinyl ‘Box Set I’; and the U.S. release of Freebass’ debut CD ‘It’s a Beautiful Life.’

Highlights of tonight’s ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave include a Swans song that’s not their cover of ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ (good thing, since the original made the playlist tonight), some choice Sinead O’Connor (‘Jerusalem’) and a dash of Fad Gadget (‘Collapsing New People’).
