Susan Boyle, the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ phenom recently described by The Sun as ‘the Highland lassie with the big hits and the hairy chassis,’ has covered Depeche Mode’s ‘Enjoy the Silence’ for her new album ‘Someone to Watch Over Me,’ which Rolling Stone this morning premiered.

Robert Smith’s not happy with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, slamming the organization online for not mentioning his just-nominated band’s current drummer in its bio of the group, writing, ‘Jason Cooper is The Cure’s drummer — and it sickens me that he doesn’t get a name check… bah!’

With the less than a week to go before the release of their 14th album, Erasure are letting fans listen to ‘Tomorrow’s World’ in its entirety via a stream posted Tuesday by The Guardian. The full album arrives Oct. 3 in the U.K. and Oct. 4 in the U.S.

The Cure announced today that it will reprise its ‘Reflections’ concerts seven more times this November, and will perform their first three albums — 1979′s ‘Three Imaginary Boys,’ 1980′s ‘Seventeen Seconds’ and 1981′s ‘Faith’ — in New York, Los Angeles and London.

Synthpop luminary Gary Numan this week released the first music video off his new album ‘Dead Son Rising,’ a moody, FX-laden clip to accompany first single “The Fall,” which can be viewed here. A free download of an edit of the track also is available.
