R.E.M. today released not one but two music videos for its new, and likely final, single ‘We All Go Back To Where We Belong’ — one featuring actress Kirsten Dunst, the other performance artist John Giorno. Both, shot in black and white, simply show a close-up of the face of their subject set to the new single.

A new book called ‘From Heaven to Heaven: New Order Live — The Early Years (1981-1984) at Close Quarters’ will chronicle 3½ years on the road with the pioneering electronic-rock act via 400 previously unpublished photos, 200 images of rare memorabilia and the memories of author Dec Hickey, who attended each of those shows.

Eagle Rock Entertainment is teasing its upcoming Talking Heads live DVD and Blu-ray — the 18-track ‘Chronology,’ spanning 1975 to 1983 — with this rare, early performance of ‘Psycho Killer,’ filmed at New York club CBGB in 1975. The collection will be released Nov. 21.

Elvis Costello will commemorate this year’s revival of his ‘Spectacular Spinning Songbook’ — which debuted during a 1986 trek that saw him choosing setlists onstage via a giant spinning wheel — with a limited-edition box set featuring a CD, DVD and 10-inch vinyl EP culled from the performer’s May 11 and 12, 2011, shows in Los Angeles.
