The Cure played their first of two shows Friday night at London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall as part of the annual Teenage Cancer Trust concert series, treating fans to a marathon 45-song set that featured some true surprises, including the live debut of Disintegration-era B-side “2 Late.”

Morrissey’s previously announced 20th anniversary reissue of his fourth solo album, 1994’s Vauxhall and I, will not feature a tweaked tracklist — as some of the singer’s re-releases have included — but will come with a bonus CD or download of a concert recorded in London on Feb. 27, 1995.

Devo will offer fans what it’s calling “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” this summer when the band performs the early experimental music it created between 1974 and 1977 during a 10-date North American tour that’s dedicated to the memory or the late Robert “Bob 2” Casale.

Former Bauhuas frontman Peter Murphy this morning confirmed the full dates for his 33-date North American tour in support of his forthcoming 10th album Lion, a record that he’s also previewing for the first time via a 6-minute video that teases a number of the album’s 11 tracks.

Kate Bush’s shocking return to the stage later this year will be even bigger than initially announced, with the singer yesterday adding seven more dates to her run of London shows that begin in late summer, meaning Bush’s first live dates in 35 years will now span a 22-performance run.

Echo & The Bunnymen return later this spring with their first album and five years, and this week they give fans the first inkling of what to expect from Meteorites with “Market Town,” an anthemic, 7-minute rocker. The album is out April 28 in the U.K. and June 3 in the U.S.
