Peter Hook will mark the 35th anniversary of Ian Curtis’ death by performing the complete works of Joy Division in a 500-seat, 18th century church in Macclesfield, England — a charity event dubbed “So This is Permanence” that will see all proceeds donated to the Epilepsy Society and the Churches Conservation Trust.

Mark E. Smith’s iconic and seemingly unstoppable post-punk act The Fall this May will release its 31st studio album, an 11-song collection called Sub-Lingual Tablet that will feature different mixes on the CD and vinyl releases, according to Cherry Red Records. The album is due out May 25.

When World Party toured the U.S. last summer, that 25-date trek was billed as the band’s most extensive visit to America in years. But this spring and summer, Karl Wallinger will top that, returning for a 39-date tour that begins in mid-May in Boston and wraps up two months later in Riverhead, New York.

Former Smiths guitarist/songwriter Johnny Marr today debuted the video for his cover of Depeche Mode’s riff-heavy 1993 single “I Feel You,” a track he will release on a limited-edition 7-single on Record Store Day. Check out out the fairly dark clip right here.
