The The today apologized for a trouble-plagued attempt to sell extra copies of its Record Store Day 7-inch single online Saturday, and, acknowledging that “demand far exceeded everyone’s expectations,” announced that “We Can’t Stop What’s Coming” will be released digitally and on CD.

As their just-launched U.S. tour brought them to Los Angeles, the Pixies stopped by “Conan” on Thursday night to perform “Bel Esprit,” a melodic rocker off their latest album Head Carrier that finds frontman Black Francis trading vocals with bassist Paz Lenchantin. Watch the full performance here.
