Goth-rock legends Bauhaus will reunite for their first concert in 13 years this November, a performance that comes after the band seemingly had split into competing camps in recent years, with bassist David J touring with frontman Peter Murphy and guitarist Daniel Ash teaming up with drummer Kevin Haskins as Poptone.
This is a round-up of the week’s new albums, expanded reissues and/or box sets, appearing each Monday on Slicing Up Eyeballs. All releases due out this Friday unless noted. Cold Waves will return to Chicago later this month for its eighth installment, and this year a number of the bands on the bill are touring — together and apart — in the weeks leading up to the Sept. 19 to 22 industrial-music festival at the Metro. Full details right here.

A few days after sharing the stage with The Cure at the Pasadena Daydream festival, the Pixies were in New York City appearing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” where they performed the second single off ttheir upcoming album Beneath the Eyrie, the melodic rocker “Catfish Kate.” Watch it right here.
