Pulp’s 1995 Britpop masterpiece, Different Class, will receive its first-ever U.S. vinyl pressing this summer when Plain Recordings releases a new 180-gram pressing of the Mercury Prize-winning album, the label announced today. No release date has yet been announced, and the pressing will not include bonus material.

Siouxsie and the Banshees will commemorate “Hong Kong Garden” next month with a double 7-inch reissue of the single that will include the original A- and B-sides and the version from Sofia Coppola’s “Marie Antoinette” film and the recording of “Voices” from 1984’s The Thorn EP.

Originally released in 1993, Star — the debut album from ex-Throwing Muses member Tanya Donelly’s band Belly — will receive its first-ever American vinyl release later this year when Plain Recordings reissues the title on 180-gram vinyl, the label announced on Facebook.

Depeche Mode announced this weekend that it will embark on another full-catalog vinyl reissue campaign this year, this time re-releasing each of the band’s studio albums on 180-gram platters, beginning this week with Some Great Reward, Black Celebration, Music for the Masses and Songs of Faith and Devotion.

As we first mentioned last month, Paul Westerberg’s post-Replacements solo debut —1993’s 14 Songs, featuring alt-rock radio hit “World Class Fad” — will receive its first-ever vinyl release next year in an 180-gram pressing similar to the previously announced release of his 1996 follow-up album Eventually.

The Captured Tracks label next month will release a new limited-edition 3LP vinyl box set collecting the first two studio albums from Nebraska post-punk trio For Against — 1987’s Echelons and 1988’s December — plus In the Marshes, the band’s 1990 collection of demos recorded between those first two albums.

Following the first-ever U.S. vinyl release of The Replacements’ final album, 1990′s All Shook Down, on Record Store Day’s Black Friday later this month comes word that bandleader Paul Westerberg’s second solo effort, 1996’s Eventually, also will make its debut on vinyl early next year.

Earlier this year, U.K.-based label Occultation Recordings took the unusual step of surveying fans of The Wild Swans about what they’d like to see included on deluxe vinyl reissues of the band’s third album, 2011′s The Coldest Winter For A Hundred Years, and a 2003 compilation of ’80s radio sessions, demos and rarities,

The Jesus and Mary Chain has revealed the 14-song tracklist that will comprise the 11th and final LP in its forthcoming The Complete Vinyl Collection box set, a collection of B-sides and rarities — including material from the Barbed Wire Kisses album and Power of Negative Thinking box set — that were voted on by fans.

Among the vinyl exclusives earmarked for Record Store Day’s Black Friday event next month is this beauty: Ten Big Stiffs, a box set compiling 10 recreations of Stiff Records 7-inches — nine classics by the likes of The Plasmatics, Kirsty MacColl, Desmond Dekker and The Untouchables.

Demon Music Group will mark the 30th anniversary of The Jesus and Mary Chain with The Complete Vinyl Collection, a deluxe box set featuring 11 LPs that includes all six of the band’s studio albums, plus a 2LP set of BBC sessions, a live album and a “fan-selected B-sides and rarities LP.”

Virgin Records is celebrating its 40th anniversary this fall, a milestone the label will mark, in part, with a series of vinyl reissues from Public Image Ltd., including a new 180-gram picture disc of 1986’s Album, a 7-inch picture disc of “This Is Not a Love Song” and a double A-sided 12-inch singe featuring “Rise” and “Warrior.”

Earlier this summer, Fire Records announced a “special ongoing partnership” with New Zealand indie-pop legends The Chills, and quickly followed that up with the release of the band’s first new song in nine years, “Molten Gold.” Now comes the first release of the new partnership: a triple LP live album.
