The Beggars Arkive imprint will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bauhaus this fall with limited-edition, colored-vinyl reissues of the pioneering goth-rock band’s first four studio albums, as well as its 1982 live set Press Eject and Give Me the Tape and the Crackle best-of. As part of the commemoration of the band’s 40th anniversary, Bauhaus is releasing a five-song EP recorded at the band’s first studio session on Jan. 26, 1979 — a collection that includes “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” and three previously on released recordings. Full details right here.

Yazoo – the hugely influential synthpop duo of Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke that was christened Yaz in the U.S. – will release a 4LP vinyl box set this fall called Four Pieces that collects the group’s two albums plus a set of remixes and their two BBC radio sessions. Depeche Mode this summer will inaugurate a new series of box sets collecting audiophile-quality vinyl 12-inches of the singles released off of each of the group’s records, beginning with multi-disc sets for 1981 debut Speak & Spell and its 1982 follow-up, A Broken Frame.
