Here it is: The first footage, albeit just 9 seconds and shot through the sliding-glass door of a rehearsal space, of The Replacements, together again and performing in 2013. The band’s official Facebook page shared video of the ‘Mats running through performing “Alex Chilton.”

For this week’s Vintage Video, we again look to rescue a classic-period concert film from VHS obscurity, this time presenting, in full, the out-of-print Tears For Fears home video “In My Mind’s Eye: Live at Hammersmith Odeon,” a concert filmed in London in December 1983 and released in 1984.

The first glimpse of Morrissey’s upcoming concert film “Morrissey 25: Live” hit the web in the form of a minute-long trailer put together by the film’s theatrical distributor SpectiCast, which is marketing the “immersive cinematic concert experience” as being available to screen in theaters beginning Aug. 29.

This past March, former Orange Juice frontman Edwyn Collins released his eighth solo album and first in three years, Understated, which had been preceded by first single “Too Bad (That’s Sad),” a fine bit of updated Motown soul. Now, three months later, Collins delivers the a music video for that track.

On Friday at its Solid Sound festival in Massachusetts, Wilco played a 27-song all-request set that featured exactly one Wilco song… and 26 covers by artists ranging from Television and Bob Dylan to even Daft Punk — not to mention The Replacements’ “Color Me Impressed” with Tommy Stinson.
