The Pixies continue their string of artsy new music videos with the second clip for a track off the band’s second collection of new music released in the past six month. The new video for “Magdalena,” off EP2, is directed by Judy Jacob and stars Nando Messias — along with an egg.

Back on Oct. 16, Gary Numan dropped by Amoeba Music in Hollywood during his U.S. tour to plan an in-store set, video from which the independent record giant has just posted. ere, you can see Numan and his band perform two tracks off last year’s Splinter as well as his smash “Cars.”

Duran Duran is acknowledging they’ve heard their fans’ “dismay” over the use of the band’s 1982 smash single “Hungry Like the Wolf” in a new TV commercial for Yoplait-brand yogurt, saying the group “does not support this usage of their music” and that the license was granted without the band’s knowledge.

With The Mission having recently started using film projections in concert for the first time, Wayne Hussey decided to go the next step and put together a full music video for one of the band’s songs: “The Girl in the Fur Skin Rug,” a tribute to Marianne Faithfull that now features an accompanying video.

Steve Wynn’s reunited Dream Syndicate — featuring Dennis Duck, Mark Walton and new guitarist Jason Victor — has only played a handful of dates in the U.S. since first coming together in the fall of 2012, so, for many, this film of the band’s full 100-minute set in Cleveland last November is a godsend.
