Cherry Red Records this March will celebrate the first era of U.K. indie-pop favorites The Primitives with a five-disc box set that collects three studio albums, a raft of singles and related B-sides, demos, covers, material recorded in BBC sessions, and live cuts. Full tracklist right here.

Omnivore Recordings this spring will finish its Game Theory reissue campaign by releasing a new collection of almost entirely unreleased material recorded by the jangle-pop outfit’s final lineup in 1989 and 1990, when late frontman Scott Miller brought on board Michael Quercio of the recently broken-up The Three O’Clock.

Morrissey this spring will follow up last year’s California Son covers record with his 13th studio album, an 11-song collection titled I Am Not a Dog on a Chain that is preceded by lead single “Bobby, Don’t You Think You Know,” which features vocal contributions from R&B singer Thelma Houston.

Cherry Red Records early next year will continue its series of imagined sequels to the NME’s famed C86 cassette compilation with the release of the three-disc, 63-track C90 box set, featuring U.K. indie artists such as The Charlatans, Spiritualized, Manic Street Preachers, Lush, Slowdive and more. 4AD next month will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pale Saints’ early shoegaze classic The Comforts of Madness with a multi-format reissue that will include 2CD and 2LP editions featuring previously unreleased demos and the band’s one and only John Peel session. The Pet Shop Boys will release their 14th studio album in January, a 10-song collection called Hotspot that will include the recently released dance track “Dreamland” — featuring Olly Alexander of the UK synthpop outfit Years & Years — as well as the new single “Burning the Heather,” which includes an assist from Bernard Butler.
