Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds today announced they will release their 15th studio album next February, a nine-track collection titled ‘Push the Sky Away’ that Cave, on the band’s website, says has a sound and feel that “just seems new, you know, but new in an old school kind of way.”

The U.K.’s Fire Records next month will release a new 2CD career-spanning overview of resurrected Boston post-punk legends Mission of Burma, compiling 29 tracks from both halves of the band’s career to serve both as an introduction and a preface to the label’s upcoming full-catalog reissue series.

Paul Weller will close out 2012 by releasing a new six-track EP built around “Dragonfly,” a standout on this year’s ‘Sonik Kicks’ album, that will be released digitally and as a limited-edition 12-inch single with five additional songs that have been released already this year as B-sides or bonus tracks.

Classic college-rock combo Camper Van Beethoven is set to return early next year with ‘La Costa Perdida,’ the band’s second post-reunion album and its first new studio set in more than eight years, a collection bassist Victor Krummenacher says “has elements of vintage Camper along with grown-up Camper.”

German industrial group Einstürzende Neubauten next month will release a CD/DVD set that captures the band’s 1990 concert for the German TV show “Rockpalast.” Featuring 16 songs, the release — dubbed, naturally, “Live at Rockpalast 1990” — is due out Nov. 12, according to the band’s website.
