Last night at London’s Royal Albert Hall, former Jam bandmates Paul Weller and Bruce Foxton reunited on stage for the first time since 1982 to play three songs together during the second night of Weller’s five-gig residency.

Last Friday, drummer Anton Fier reactivated the Golden Palominos for the experimental folk-rock collective’s first concert in more than 20 years, playing a headlining set at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City with the band’s Syd Straw-fronted 1985-’87 lineup.

Two weeks after playing its first show since 1997 (as ‘Nudedragons’), the reunited Soundgarden tonight shared the first official taste of that Seattle gig: a pro-shot video of the band performing ‘Beyond the Wheel,’ a track from its 1988 debut album ‘Ultramega OK.’
