Highlights of tonight’s ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave include a cut off The The’s generally neglected ‘Dusk’ album (‘Love is Stronger Than Death’); a favorite off Morrissey’s solo debut, ‘Viva Hate’ (‘Late Night, Madulin Street’); and a real rarity in ‘No Name, No Slogan,’ the one-off 1989 single from Acid Horse, a hybrid of Ministry and Cabaret Voltaire.

Highlights from last night’s ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave include an always-welcome Depeche Mode B-side (‘Sea of Sin’ off ‘World in My Eyes’), a dash of Swans (‘Saved’) and a particularly great three-song run by Sinead O’Connor, Cocteau Twins and The Church (‘Jerusalem’/’Ivo’/’Tantalized’).

Highlights from tonight’s ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave include a pair of album cuts (‘More Than a Party,’ ‘And Then…’) from Depeche Mode’s ‘Construction Time Again,’ a Giorgio Moroder tune from the ‘Cat People’ soundtrack (‘Leopard Tree Dream’) and one of The Smiths’ finest moments (‘Death of a Disco Dancer’).

The highlights of tonight’s ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave include a couple album cuts off The Cure’s ‘Disintegration,’ a Tones on Tail song that’s not ‘Go!,’ Shriekback’s excellent ‘My Spine Is the Bassline’ and Wax Trax! industrial act Braindead Soundmachine’s cover of Patsy Cline’s ‘Walkin’ After Midnight.’

Among the highlights of tonight’s ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM: ‘Kinetic,’ the one hit from synthpop one-hit-wonder Hilary; ‘Carpe Diem,’ a mid-period single from German EBM act Bigod 20; and ‘Stigmata,’ from Ministry (rather than the usual pop-era stuff they play).
