Video: Alison Moyet, ‘Changeling’ — third single off electro-pop album ‘the minutes’

With a lengthy tour of the U.K. and Ireland opening tonight — to be followed by a very brief trip to the U.S. in November — former Yazoo frontwoman Alison Moyet today debuted the music video for “Changeling,” the third single off the electronic-infused album the minutes that she released earlier this year.

The Pet Shop Boys won’t release the next single off their new album Electric until November — “Thursday,” featuring the rapper Example — but they went ahead and debuted the track’s music video, which features a giant Neil Tennant projected onto the sides of buildings.

This week’s new releases include brand-new studio albums from New Model Army and Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, a box set of live recordings from Cabaret Voltaire, a “lost” album from The Bongos that was recorded in 1986 but never finished or released, and a reissue of a 1997 album from ABC.
