Erasure has unveiled a fall tour of the U.K. in support of new album ‘Tomorrow’s World’ — which the band reveals will arrive Oct. 3 in the U.K. and Oct. 4 in the U.K., preceded by first single ‘When I Start to (Break It All Down).’

As we near the end of the The AV Club’s second Undercover series we find nerd-pop duo They Might Be Giants enlisting the website’s staff to help perform a delightfully unhinged version of one-hit-wonder Chumbawumba’s sing-along anthem ‘Tubthumping.’

The Pixies will bring their seemingly never-ending tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of ‘Doolittle’ — a record that’s now actually 22 years old — back to the U.S. for another round of 19 dates in October and November, this time ‘playing cities we’ve never visited across the U.S. of A.’

The Fourth of July isn’t just the anniversary of this nation’s birth, it’s also the day now recognized as marking the break-up of perhaps the greatest of all the ’80s college-rock acts: The Replacements, who performed their final concert exactly 20 years ago today in Chicago’s Grant Park.
