Pixies announce special ‘fan exclusive’ shows in London this summer, live download

The Pixies this morning announced, via the band’s e-mail list, “two very special, fan exclusive shows” at The Troxy in London on June 3 and 4. Tickets for the concerts at the 2,600-capacity venue — priced at £30, or about $46 — already are on sale directly through the band at lalapixiesloveyou.com.

As part of the announcement, the group — which also has live dates planned this summer in Europe, Japan and Down Under — also is offering a free audio and video download of Doolittle track “La La Love You” recorded on tour in 2009 (just enter your e-mail address in the box below), similar to last year’s free live EP.
