Peter Hook & The Light this week announced a 28-date North American tour for the spring of 2018, a trek that once again will see the band performing Joy Division’s and New Order’s classic Substance compilation albums front to back each night.
The tour opens April 26 in Philadelphia and runs through a June 4 stop in St. Petersburg, Fla., hitting dates across the United States and into Canada along the way.
All of those shows will feature the two Substance sets except for a May 18 concert in Los Angeles that will see Hook performing Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures and Closer albums.
Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday.

Glad and surprised he is coming back to Atlanta. Last time, the young hipster crowd was embarrassingly disinterested.
Damn. Seriously? I gotta see Hooky. I’m going. We’ll never hear Ian sing the songs again. At least we can hear the real bass riffs still.

Hoping there would be a Denver date.
He just played in Denver a few weeks ago
