The latest entry in Amoeba Records’ clever “What In My Bag?” video series — in which musicians shopping at the California chain’s outlets show off their hauls — features Duran Duran bandmates Simon Le Bon and John Taylor. In the clip above, the two reborn vinyl collectors stop to chat during a visit to Amoeba’s Haight Street store in San Francisco, pulling out records by the likes of Patti Smith, Public Image Ltd., Neu!, The Tubes and even Arcadia, one of Le Bon’s Duran Duran spinoffs. Choice bit: Le Bon, holding a copy of The Clash, explains he “nicked” his first copy of the album at a party. “Do you think I’ll have the police on my back for that,” he wryly asks.
