Over the weekend we brought you audio of Peter Hook’s newly recorded version of the unfinished Joy Division song “Pictures in My Mind,” and now the bassist has released official music videos for both that track and a new re-recording of the Joy Division classic “Atmosphere” featuring onetime Happy Mondays singer Rowetta handling lead vocals.
Both tracks — along with new versions of “Insight” and “New Dawn Fades” — will be included on the 1102/2011 EP, due out next week in the U.K., that Hooky recorded with his band The Light. You can catch the “Pictures in My Mind” video above and watch “Atmosphere” below; both were filmed in late March in Manchester by Surdevan Creative.
